I almost didn't go near this rotting old tree. Half-expecting a badger or other creature of nightmare to be tucked away inside. Yet, my curious nature won out, and I crept a little closer. Nope. Nothing in there. Except creepy blackness. It makes me think of a home for some tiny creature of myth. Maybe even the treehouse of a certain honey-loving bear. Tiny, cosy, and just a teensie bit scary.
