Walking across the Golden Gate Bridge one sunny day in San Francisco, California, I took a photograph of one of its suspension cables set against a clear blue sky. The orange-red cable angles diagonally across the frame from the lower left to the upper right. Two pairs of suspender ropes stretch down to the left side of the photo's base.
