Gorget Dragon Field Plate Poster

Enter the tropical islands and meet the Gorget Dragon. Known to sailors as the “Lighthouse Dragon,” the Gorget is a peaceful, reclusive giant that spends much of its life avoiding attention. During violent storms, however, it climbs to the highest point on its island and unleashes a blinding purple flame into the sky, a spectacular display visible for miles across the sea. This Natural Dragons Field Plate presents the Gorget as though documented by naturalists exploring a world where dragons are simply another branch of the animal kingdom. The plate combines a detailed species illustration, field observations, physical statistics, and a sketched storm behaviour study in a vintage natural-history-inspired design. Natural Dragons Dragons aren't monsters or myths. They're wildlife. 🐉
