The Greek island of Santorini, in the Aegean sea, and officially named Thera, lies at the border of a volcanic caldera of the same name. Volcanic activity has been quiet since the 1500s, allowing for the development of an island now known for its beautiful iconic white cubic houses and coral color buildings and blue roofs (all colors coming from naturally occurring volcanic ashes and stones!), along with luscious flowering bushes and deep blue beaches at the foot of gorgeous green cliffs.

I was very surprised by the quality of these coasters they are beautifully crafted, and the sunflower watercolour image is so sharp it really pops out at you, I really love these and will order some more as a gift. The colours are so vibrant and the glossy tops make the image really stand out, they are stunning, a lovely way to brighten up dark wood or any surface. 6 coasters is also the perfect amount.
