Grumpy looking American Toads (Bufo americanus) are looking out at you from this fun animal fabric design. This small amphibian is brown with black, gold olive green and orange coloration. His warts distinguish him from his frog neighbours. Although hatched in the water of ponds, rivers, lakes or streams, the tadpoles soon move to land where the toads live their adult lives. His startling call is a long screech. He looks quite fierce but is actually a gentle little guy who eat lots of garden pests including insects and slugs. Easily customise the black background to any colour that will suit your special project.

The design is so pretty and the colours are subtle yet rich. The material the design is printed on is strong and great for cutting for upholstery. It is also soft to the touch which is great as its such a tactile pattern. The colours are so rich and just as the image shows!
