And because they are flat and easy to store, they are ideal for those last-minute presents - say goodbye to pulling those old fashioned crushed and ruined paper rolls out of the closet!

About This Design

Gustav Klimt - Apple Tree Wrapping Paper Sheet

Apple Tree I, painted around 1912 in oil on canvas by Austrian Symbolist Gustav Klimt. A small fruit tree fills the square composition, its crown scattered with red apples and set against a dense meadow of flowers and foliage. Klimt builds the scene from short, thick touches of colour so that branches, fruit and ground form an almost continuous decorative surface. The shallow space and lack of a conventional horizon make the landscape read less as a view into nature than as a richly woven field of colour. The painting belongs to the late phase in which Klimt loosened the precise ornament of his Golden Period and pursued a freer, more painterly approach to landscape. It was first shown at the Great Dresden Art Exhibition in 1912.

I have ordered several times from zazzle in the past. I particularly liked the colours on this one and I had the perfect piece waiting for it. So I painted an escritoire in a Farrow &Ball lime white which complimented the paper. I advertised it and within five minutes it was sold. Everyone commented on what a beautiful paper it was.It is very important in my furniture painting business to have a good quality products.I will definitely be ordering more in the future. Thank you. I nearly cried opening this. I cannot believe how quick production and shipping was. Especially as I didn’t realise this was coming from the US to the UK! It’s absolutely amazing, oh I’m so pleased!!!! Amazing design. We have a bulldog and my fella has a Harley motorbike, so combining the two together is absolutely amazing. Thank you!!!!!
