"Halcyon" Mug

Halcyon - a beautiful word meaning peace, calm, tranquillity - also a mythological bird born into water - delicate blue - I thought it was a suitable title for this calming painting of a mermaid floating in a tranquil pond - tying water and sky with descending butterflies. It debuted at Dragon*Con 2011, but was snapped up by Pop Gallery in Downtown West Side® in Walt World Resort® here in Florida - you can see the original there now, as well as the Limited Edition Hand Embellished Gallery Canvases which are EXCLUSIVE to the gallery! My own original acrylic painting, painted on a wood/masonite panel.

When I first saw the mug it was just all black,and could not see the Zebra,s. When filled with a hot drink,wow,what a surprise to see it change colour,and to see the Zebra,s appear.So unusual. I would strongly recommend this product, if you are looking for something unusual.
