Kilted Scottish Highland Gentlemen and their Scottish Deerhound at the gates of Dunstaffnage Castle, Argyll, Scotland. Did you know that "Dun" in a castle's name translates to "Fort" in the Gaelic? Built by the MacDougall Lords of Lorn, Dunstaffnage castle has been held since the 15th century by Clan Campbell. The castle is maintained by Historic Environment Scotland and is open to the public.
