Growing up in the Sourland mountains of New Jersey, Carol Critchlow spent much of her childhood first observing the flora and fauna of the forests surrounding her home, then capturing those images on sketch pads and canvas. She graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa, in Fine Arts Painting with University honours. Carol specialises in portraits which capture the subtle essence, the ‘inner self’ of her subjects which range from people to pets, florals, wild creatures, to now Hope, the bear cub. Much of her work is done in pencil or pen and ink, but she enjoys painting in oils as well.

This tote bag is just the right size for my needs. It is big enough to fit all the things I need, toys, treats and medical record to send with my guide dog puppy when they go into training.
