John William "Blind" Boone Playing Cards
A 19th and 20th century African-American pianist and composer of ragtime music born in Federal Militia camp near Miami, Missouri. He was AKA Blind Boone, Little Willie. He played over a 1000 of concerts in the United States and Canada. By 1880 he had given over 7,200 concerts, slept in over 7000 beds and given $180,000 to charities. In Warrensburg, Missouri a park is called Blind Boone Park.
