In the spirit of the One Thousand and One Nights, this table runner was inspired by a vintage textile. The Kabristan pattern (Quba school of carpet weaving) is emblematic of Caucasian (Azeri / Armenian) carpets. It contains a geometric design with S shapes in the border. It's offered in earth shades that generate a sense of comfort . _____________________ This design is courtesy of Internet Archive Book Images : it is from a German book " Meisterstücke orientalischer Knüpfkunst" Year: 1921 (1920s)The antique book illustration was edited and applied on this item by Alma Wad .
