Kuniyoshi Hawk key chain. Ukiyo-e from Edo Period Japan. Utagawa Kuniyoshi mastered multiple genres of painting and woodblock printing. The artist was especially fond of animals, and his Hawk represents one of the finest renderings of the Japanese bird of prey from the period. The hawk stands atop a ragged tree branch on one claw, spreading its wings in front of an orange falling sun. A beautiful gift for fans of Kuniyoshi, hawk paintings, and Japanese art.
