    This illustrated rendition of the Lakota Prayer was created to honour my friendship with the Lakota Nation and specifically my friends on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Spirituality is an essential element in traditional Lakota culture - a culture rich with honour, wisdom, pride, and respect for all life. These elements are preserved through simple prayer and deeply-rooted faith - a faith that starts by giving thanks to the Creator.
