L'Entrée du Christ à Jérusalem Poster

This painting depicts the moment Jesus enters Jerusalem, greeted by crowds laying down palm branches and cloaks, symbolising his recognition as the Messiah. The composition is lively and dynamic, characteristic of Rubens’s mature Baroque style, with rich colours and expressive figures. The work was originally part of a triptych altarpiece commissioned in 1632 for the chapel of the Saint-Sacrement in the church of Saint Rombault in Mechelen, Belgium. It served as one of the predella panels, accompanying the central panel The Last Supper (now in Milan) and Le Lavement des pieds (The Washing of the Feet), also in Dijon.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
