Lilium Longiflorum 005 ~ Botanical Art ~  Large Clock

Lilium Longiflorum 005 ~ Botanical Art ~  Large Clock

~ Album van Eeden-Haarlem's flora images in colour print of various bulbous and tuberous plants (1872) ~ A typical Dutch icon, the origins of tulips in Holland actually began elsewhere. Brought to Holland in the 15th century from the Ottoman Empire – a vast area of land, which is now modern-day Turkey, much of southeast Europe and parts of Russia. The wet, low-lying conditions of the Netherlands made the perfect growing environment, and tulip gardens have been cultivated there ever since. ~*~ [Eeden, A.C. van, [Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons]

Great style, perfect colouring & good quality. I absolutely love it. Definitely recommend it for those that have the marble/grey & rose gold colour schemes. Looks classy not tacky at all. the printing was perfect.
