Inspiration can come from just about anywhere. Advice from Abuela Raquel, when describing the inspiration for this painting. She had seen the Lonely Cypruss while visiting the West Coast, and saw a Cypruss on a sugar packet - which she used a the model for starting this painting, then she filled in from her memory of the lovely scene.
