The Luddites fought against industrialisation by attempting to smash the machines. The machines were protected and some of the Luddites were executed. Fast forward to now and jobs are under threat from a new wave of robotic industrialisation. The term "Luddite" may be making a comeback as humans try to protect their jobs and livelihoods. Image shows hand drawn lettering made by a craftsman from wood, bolts and glue. Not a robot in sight.
