A Design without a story? Well it's just a design. A design with a story, that's art. Bill

Jean Lafitte, Pirate king of kings
A design is just a design, unless it has a story. Meet Jean Lafitte (ca. 1776 – ca. 1823) was a pirate and privateer in the Gulf of Mexico in the early 19th century. He and his elder brother, Pierre, spelled their last name Laffite, but English-language documents of the time used "Lafitte", and this is the commonly seen spelling in the United States, including for places named for him.
Lafitte is believed to have been born either in France or the French colony of Saint-Domingue. By 1805, he operated a warehouse in New Orleans to help disperse the goods smuggled by his brother Pierre Lafitte. After the United States government passed the Embargo Act of 1807, the Lafittes moved their operations to an island in Barataria Bay. By 1810, their new port was very successful; the Lafittes pursued a successful smuggling operation and also started to engage in piracy.
Though Lafitte tried to warn Barataria of a British attack, the American authorities successfully invaded in 1814 and captured most of Lafitte's fleet. In return for a pardon, Lafitte helped General Andrew Jackson defend New Orleans against the British in 1815. The Lafittes then became spies for the Spanish and moved to Galveston Island, which they called Campeche, where they developed the colony there.

From the moment we chose the card, the ease of editing and adding photos was so straight forward making the whole experience user friendly; enjoyable to see my own creations take place. The print was second to none. The finishing, detail, colour photos we added, everything was just perfect and what I expected.

This invitation was even better than we could imagine! They look exactly how we designed them on the laptop. Even before I took them out of the clear packaging I still didn't think they would be as good. I thought they would be flimsy, but they are quite thick and are a good quality invitation! The design of the invitation was just how we set it out, the photo was very clear and the colours were bright.

The invitations that I ordered are of outstanding quality. I would definitely recommend this supplier. The print was in gold on white card. It is excellent as is the quality of the card and envelopes.
