About This Design

Meadow Patchwork Ping Pong Paddle

This artwork is a vertically oriented, highly stylized botanical pattern presented in a grid-like structure. It features tall, central flower stems with leaves extending through and across multiple colored rectangular blocks. The pastel color palette includes soft pink, muted teal, lavender, pale yellow, and sage green, creating a harmonious and serene effect. Various geometric flowers, rendered as circles with radiating petals or solid gold disks, are positioned at the top and throughout the stems. The design has a folk art or mid-century modern sensibility, emphasizing symmetry, flat color fields, and clean lines. Subtle gold accents enhance the edges of some blocks and the centers of several flowers, adding a touch of luminosity and sophistication. The overall impression is one of calm, rhythmic organization and natural beauty.

Overall, it's a nice product but for what you pay the quality isn't very good. The way it's glued together, as you can see in the pictures, is messy, the glue is visible and shiny, there's some ink staining that looks like black fluff but isn't, it won't come off. On the paddle's black surface there are also little white marks here and there. It's not too easy to show in the pictures because of the flash but I tried to showcase the little white blemishes that ruin a smooth black surface. This was meant to be a gift and it just looks sloppily put together unfortunately. A few imperfections that mar what could have been really great. The printing was neat.
