This Particular design, is a mehndi Tree of Life. It is a mixed media piece, which was a collaborative effort - from sketch to digital finish - by the two artists of Henna Harmony. Mehndi is a ceremonial art form which originated in ancient India. Muslims also use it as an indication of coming of age. Intricate patterns of mehndi are typically applied to brides before wedding ceremonies. The bridegroom is also painted in some parts of India. The word mehndi is derived from the Sanskrit word mendhikā. The use of mehndi is described in the earliest Hinduism's Vedic ritual books. Haldi (staining oneself with turmeric paste) as well as mehndi are Vedic customs, intended to be a symbolic representation of the outer and the inner sun. Vedic customs are centred around the idea of "awakening the inner light". Sir,A great product of quality,which really was, jolly good as a Christmas present for my brother in-law ,who is a mushroom expert here in England.
The design,size and convenience of such a present ,was exactly what I was looking for.
He was at first "puzzled"as to the what the Christmas present could be,but was delighted by the contents.He was certainly very happy and made from a fun present.

Nice compact box, however, the picture of the jigsaw on the box is literally no more than 4 x 3 inches and as this is supposed to be a gift for someone to make the jigsaw based on the picture - I'm not sure how they are supposed to do that with such a small picture?! Can I suggest the box contains a larger picture of the jigsaw for those less able to see the extremely small details on the box sticker.

I bought this jigsaw in 252 pieces because I originally bought it in 110 pieces. I found it a bit of a leap in terms of time commitment as this one took me approx 5 hours. It was definitely challenging and was on my boundary of tolerance. This is because I like to complete a puzzle in just a few hours. I find thousands of pieces tedious and having to store them leads to lostvpieces. I can never commit Diego busy lifestyle and not knowing when I will find the time and or motivation to go back to a puzzle.
The puzzle comes in a really durable gift box that will keep puzzle secure for a long time. It also fits neatly on to a small bookcase for storage. The image was centrally fixed with no border lines,it was also very good quality image.
