George Bellows part of the urban realism movement created A Stag at Sharkey’s in 1917. This work has become one of the most iconic images of twentieth-century American printmaking. Depicted is a prize fight held at a private club aka a stag. We absolutely love this painting. Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world!
