The work is heavily impressionistic and the dark purple irises almost seem to be floating in water above their dark green foliage, the sky above is soft blue and purple. Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
