I purchased these bags to use as book bags instead of gift wrap for the books I gave to my nieces and nephews for Christmas. It serves so many purposes - it saves me the trouble wrapping the many different sized books; it gives the kids something to carry their new books and other presents home; they use them again and again throughout the year. This tote bag is just the right size for my needs. It is big enough to fit all the things I need, toys, treats and medical record to send with my guide dog puppy when they go into training.
