This design features a painting by romanticist American artist Ralph Albert Blakelock (1847–1919), who was known primarily for his landscape paintings related to the Tonalism movement. This image shows a natural landscape in the moonlight; the black shadowy outlines of trees can be seen as the moonlight shines through their branches; water can be seen gently rippling on a lake in the distance. It is an atmospheric and romantic scene. This is one of many similar scenes that Ralph Blakelock painted at night in the American West.

The application of this decoupage paper was very simple , applied with PVA glue on a plywood surface. The colour stayed true to paper before application . I used cling film to apply over ply wood , no wrinkles , very pleased with the result.
