Many islands are also labelled such as Bodie Island, Pea Island, Hatteras Island, and Ocracoke Island. Lastly, you'll see the major bodies of water identified as the Atlantic Ocean and Albemarle Sound as well as several smaller sounds, bays, and inlets.
