In the realm of Asian calligraphy, the concept of "oneness" and "completeness" is beautifully embodied through the ancient art forms of China and Japan. The Chinese character for "one" or "unity" (yī), is often depicted with a single, bold stroke, symbolising the ultimate unity of all things. This concept is deeply rooted in Taoist philosophy, which emphasises the interconnectedness of the universe.
In Japan, the concept of "completeness" is represented through the character (en), meaning "circle" or "perfection". This character is often used in Zen calligraphy to convey the idea of wholeness and unity. The famous Japanese calligrapher Hakuin Ekaku was known for his dynamic and expressive depictions of this character, which seemed to pulse with the energy of the universe.
Through the elegant lines and bold strokes of Asian calligraphy, the concepts of "oneness" and "completeness" come alive, inviting the viewer to contemplate the deeper meaning of unity and perfection.

The design tool was so easy to create a bespoke invitation. The invitations arrived well wrapped and super quick. I love the finished item and would 100% recommend.
