This image is one in an original series of mural-sized (15,000x 15,000 pixels) procedurally created eggs with fractal textures and colouring made in fascinating fractal software XenoDream by Scotland-based Norwegian artist Hakon Soreide. I chose eggs for this series of textures as I think it's a simple yet dynamic shape that shows off patterns and figuring particularly well. I also made a standard shape and size so that the pictures look great together. Great for anyone loving eggs, dragons, chickens, for Easter, or for any time of year when the textured shape of an egg still makes a fascinating piece of art. Eggs are also an enduring metaphor of fruitfulness, prosperity and fertility, making them suitable as a symbol for a wedding present.
