This mousepad features the amazing oud. It is a pear shaped stringed musical instrument commonly used in North African and Middle Eastern music. The modern oud and the European lute are both quite similar. The oud can be identified by its lack of frets and smaller neck. In this still life, the oud is set against a pure black background. It is decorated with complex, intricate designs in black, silver and white which contrast beautifully with the gorgeous golden wood.

I needed a mouse mat for my desk at home that would stay put and not take up much space. This does the job perfectly. The fabric on top is soft and the rubbery bit is nice and thick, which is comfortable on the hand and wrist. Exactly as expected. Print is crisp with no bleeding.
