A great owl clutches a small downy feathered yellow chick in it's beak. This photograph captured every last detail from the flecks in the owl's enormous eyes to the tiny feathers and talons of the prey. It was taken at the zoo, in a wildlife bird sanctuary and rescue exhibit.
