"Moonlit Run" depicts the famous Wilson Line excursion steamboat "State of Delaware" passing the Seven Foot Knoll lighthouse on a moonlit evening in 1931. The "State of Delaware" was a familiar sight for years on the Delaware River, and in the early 1930's on the Chesapeake Bay out of Baltimore Harbour. "State of Delaware" was unique in its day: she had a full-size movie screen on her top deck!
