Pegasus Poster

This mythological winged horse was born of the blood of the slain Medusa. Pegasus was captured by Bellerophon and horse and rider would together win many conquests in battle but it would be Bellerophon's ego which would lose him his winged steed. Believing he was powerful enough to join the Gods Bellerophon attempted an ill fated ride upward into the sky where he was bucked and fell soundly back to Earth. Pegasus continued his flight upward on his own and upon reaching Mount Olympus became a servant to Zeus. For his loyalty the winged horse was gifted with his own constellation in the night sky which still bears his name today.
