Beautiful white winged stallion, Pegasus. Making his morning flight high in the clouds. Pegasus was a mythical magical creature of many Greek legends and tales. He was born from the blood of Medusa when Perseus was sent to kill the Gorgon. It was said that Pegasus sprang from the blood from her neck when the Hero killed her. The most famous tale was when our hero flew on Pegasus to save his beloved Andromeda from the sea dragon Borea when she was offered as a sacrifice to appease Poseidon. The foolish Mother of Andromeda, Cassiopeia, had proclaimed her daughter more beautiful than that of the Sea Nymphs of the Mediterranean. In their anger they asked Poseidon to level the city unless Andromeda was sacrificed to them. So with Pegasus help Perseus saved her and earn his place amongst the stars as a constellation. Pegasus.
