I got this mug as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, who works as a chemistry scientist. Though he has not seen it yet, I secretly pull it out to enjoy the magic :) It arrived on time and it was packaged very well to prevent breaking, but it did have some tiny scrapes on the black handle that I plan on covering up with a black ceramic's marker. They are very small, dot-sized, scratches that you could see with close examination. The mug itself is dark and you can still see some of the design, however once the hot liquid hits it, the print becomes visible in its vibrant colors. It is truly a beautiful mug! The colors are exactly as advertised - very vibrant and with clear margins.

When I first saw the mug it was just all black,and could not see the Zebra,s. When filled with a hot drink,wow,what a surprise to see it change colour,and to see the Zebra,s appear.So unusual. I would strongly recommend this product, if you are looking for something unusual.
