Periodic Table of the Elements - Dark Poster

Hydrogen and helium are 99.9% of every atom in existence. Everything else on this chart, all the chemistry and all of us, is the remaining one tenth of one percent. Every cell here is filled to the level of how much of that element the universe actually made, so the table stops being a list and starts being a measurement. Elements with an even atomic number sit 14.6 times above their neighbours, in 100% of the 35 cases on this sheet, and the abundance curve at the foot shows the same fact unrolled from hydrogen to uranium. Every figure was recomputed from the published measurements, not copied from another chart: the abundances come from two physically independant methods, 3D spectroscopy of the Sun's photosphere and chemical analysis of CI chondrite meteorites, which agree to 0.05 dex across 62 elements.
