A beautiful print of "Mascarene Parrot" created by John Gerrard Keulemans (1842 - 1912). John Gerrard Keulemans was a Dutch bird writer and illustrator who was best known for natural-history illustration. He illustrated many important bird books, including A History of the Birds of New Zealand. For most of his life he lived and worked in England, illustrating many of the best-known ornithology books of the nineteenth century.
