Polish Synagogue Hanukkah Lamp Foil Card

This card shows a brass Polish Synagogue Hanukkah lamp, similar to the ones created by Jewish craftsmen in Poland during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Designed to resemble Polish wooden synagogues, these lamps also included holders for the Sabbath candles. Jewish families lit these lamps inside their homes, set before windows or on tables.
