Original oil painting by C alifornia artist, Susan Payne-Trutna. One of the saddest boutique signs a Paris shopper can encounter is one that says FERMÉ (closed). This is a painting of the upstairs of table arts store, Dîners en Ville on 27 Rue de Varenne, 75007, PARIS. It is open Tuesday-Saturday. I revisited this shop on a MONDAY!!!! Fortunately I had photographed the gorgeous second floor on a previous shopping expedition...Enjoy the walls of dishes from Provence and the window with a view of Paris! Maybe you will be lucky enough to shop here on a Tuesday and spy a SOLDES (sales) sign! The original oil painting is now being exhibited in the Atherton, California Library (JUNE 1-AUGUST 15).
