Purple Grasshopper Poster
There are a few different types of purple grasshoppers from various parts of the world. The purple winged grasshopper has purple wings and green body. The purple coloration in grasshoppers in the United Kingdom is a rare genetic mutation called erythrism, this condition has also been observed in birds and leopards.
Not everyone loves insects, but this unusual coloration of grasshopper makes it into my list for rarity and it's quite a beautiful colour. This particular image may look good in a study or office. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
