Socialists/Liberals seem to view wealth as a fixed commodity. The reality is wealth is constantly being created and destroyed (spent). It is impossible to "redistribute" wealth without invalidating the work ethic of the one who created it, and benefiting someone who did not earn it.
Such a system is unsustainable by definition. Not to mention that "redistributing" wealth is outright theft!
