Quilt | Antique Tumbling Blocks Patchwork

This design features a photographic detail from an antique American-made quilt, circa 1856 and attributed to Adeline Harris Sears. It is a fine representation of this unique style of quilt design using many scraps of fabric and embellished with embroidered signatures. This piece is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. On the lower portion of the artwork I have placed an antique beige coloured rectangle accented with faux stitching which you can personalise with your own name, monogram or custom text by using the easy, provided template.
