I love these areas of the Mandelbrot Set when I find them. On one side of the picture you have a spiral. On the other, there is a whirlpool type hole. So I call these fractals Spiroles. A made up word. But it describes it nicely. It was a black and white image that inspired the word "Spirole". This image, shown below, is made up only of black and white dots. I needed a mouse mat for my desk at home that would stay put and not take up much space. This does the job perfectly. The fabric on top is soft and the rubbery bit is nice and thick, which is comfortable on the hand and wrist. Exactly as expected. Print is crisp with no bleeding.
