Repro Victorian Pink Daisies Hand Colored Transfer Tile

This is reproduced from a late Victorian English transferware tile. Very pretty with an unusual polka dot border. This tile bridges the earlier Victorian transferware tiles with the later ones as you can see from the yellow stylized sunflowers in the corners. Sunflowers were a frequently used motif in the later Eastlake/Aesthetic style periods.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
