Painted from 1483 until 1485, Sandro Botticelli's iconic Nascita di Venere (The Birth of Venus) depicts the goddess of Love, Venus, having emerged from the sea as a fully grown woman, arriving at the sea-shore. This tempera on panel painting is among the most famous paintings in the world, and an icon of the Italian Renaissance.

Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world!
