REVITALIZATION JIGSAW PUZZLE

There is a profound order that pervades the universe. This order stands independant of chaos, space and time. Yet it is mathematically verifiable... as it exists in the form of harmonious number relationships and can be expressed through geometric shapes, patterns and forms. New Zealand artist Jonathan Quintin applies colour to these otherwise invisible principles to produce a series of geometric mandalas. The series includes traditional as well as original designs. The Sanskrit word “mandala” means "circle" or "wheel". In ancient Tantric Hinduism and Buddhism, mandalas were holy diagrams representing the universe and were used in sacred rites and as an instrument of meditation.
