She became Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face, O.C.D., when she entered the order of the French Discalced Carmelites. Her "little way" teaches the faithful to give one's self to God by trusting Jesus the way a little child trusts it's parents, and to offer daily small, random acts of kindness and love for the sake of God. She teaches that God sees every single little loving act and intention, and He cherishes even the tiniest one because He loves all of His children equally and profoundly.
