Sandbars, Ft. DeSoto Canvas Print

This is my first foray into the new technique on wood with glass, metal, and other industrial materials. It was a tactile experience of the foam, the transparent sheets of water, and the frolicking waves as I proceed from the beach to “my” sandbar. The blue to green transitions are very “Gulf of Mexico,” yet I always think of those colours in relation to the Adriatic Sea. The artist, Peter Stilton, is internationally known. His paintings and sculptures are in private and corporate collections all over the world…from Tel Aviv to Stockholm, including a commission for the Saudi royal family’s summer palace Peter was the first American to have a one-man show at the Sorbonne (University of Paris).
