An annular or “ring of fire” solar eclipse took place on June 10, 2021. The most impressive effect was visible to viewers in Greenland, Northern Russia and Canada. Many other areas, including a view of the partial solar eclipse over the United States Capitol building from Arlington, Virginia, saw a less complete but still impressive lunar and solar display in the sky. The next total solar eclipse that will be visible in the North America will be on April 8, 2024 with a path over Mexico, the United States and Canada.
