    About This Design

    Space Shuttle Mousepad

    Space Shuttle Mousepad

The Space Shuttle Atlantis leaving Earth from Launch Pad 39B. Shortly after lift-off the shuttle begins a roll program to orient the shuttle orbiter on the underside of the fuel tank for the 8 minute journey into orbit. By flying this way, the forces on the vehicle and astronauts are lessened. My depiction shows the vehicle about half way through this manoeuvre. Scheduled to be retired in 2011 our design is a fine commemoration of the shuttles 60 years of service.

I needed a mouse mat for my desk at home that would stay put and not take up much space. This does the job perfectly. The fabric on top is soft and the rubbery bit is nice and thick, which is comfortable on the hand and wrist. Exactly as expected. Print is crisp with no bleeding.
