About This Design

Star chart jigsaw puzzle

A star chart or star map is a map of the night sky. Astronomers divide these into grids to use them more easily. They are used to identify and locate astronomical objects such as stars, constellations and galaxies. They have been used for human navigation since time immemorial. Note that a star chart differs from an astronomical catalogue, which is a listing or tabulation of astronomical objects for a particular purpose. Tools utilising a star chart include the astrolabe and the planisphere. Quote:Wikipedia

My recipient loved this jigsaw, they found it a challenge at 1000 pieces, their only comment was the picture on the box was very small and made it tricky to follow as a guide. Printing as ever with Zazzle was great no issues.

Great looking jigsaw with unusually glossy finish.Only gripe is that it is not of the complete original painting. Rather expensive however and steep delivery cost to the UK. All in all the recipient was very pleased with this jigsaw. Lovely gloss finish with vibrant colours.
