The beautiful, bubbling Billy Creek, winds through the wilds of northern Minnesota and from my tiny, very rustic cabin, on it's banks, I create beautiful images of nature and wildlife. All of my vibrant images are created by artistically blending photos that I have captured in the wild, often times through my front window. The joy and peace that nature offers a soul is unparalleled and I prefer to keep the 25 acre Billy Creek property as untouched as possible so that nature and wildlife can thrive. At times I will offer images of beautiful embroidery and quilts that are sewn completely on vintage treadle sewing machines along with images from my Billy Creek gardens where everything is buzzing with life. Billy Creek began as a venture with my partner of 17 years. He passed unexpectedly and I was left with the decision to stay here with no home including any modern amenities or return to a more populated area and the comforts of our previous home. I decided to stay at Billy Creek and with the help of family and friends a small cabin was built in honor of his memory and of his dream. From here I can observe, enjoy, explore, live and create in the amazing, peaceful beauty of the nature that surrounds me. My wish is to share the beauty and peace that I capture and create, in even a small way, with the rest of humanity.
